PPBM - People's Preferred Band of Monkeys?

Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) is part of the coalition government of Malaysia. Prime minister of this government, Mahathir Mohamad is the leader of PPBM. There is a lack of talent in PPBM beyond Mahathir, who is well known for his authoritarian leadership. Ministers appointed by Mahathir from his own PPBM party are looking more like jokers than serious leaders.

1st Joker - Mohd Redzuan Mohd Yusof, entrepreneur development minister, has neither entrepreneur skills nor ministerial leadership. He is more interested in 'flying car' than entrepreneur developments for the people. Malaysia is not known for aeronautical engineering, aviation excellence, battery technology, material science, etc; which are absolutely required to build a flying car. You are talking about building something akin to a helicopter or an airplane. Malaysia can not even build a car without paying for and adopting the technology from Japan or China. There you have it - entrepreneur minister who boasts about building a flying car. Below is the 1st impression of his model flying car:

Mohd Redzuan further claimed that this flying car project is strictly private funded by corporate entities without using public funds. Malaysian parliament’s public accounts committee (PAC) has however disputed Mohd Redzuan’s claim that no public funds were used for the “flying car” project. A Malaysian governmental entity had to channel RM20 million into the company undertaking this flying car because of Mohd Redzuan.

The prototype showcased eventually was a ready-made drone (eHang) from China that is available for sale to the public.

This minister is also the one who smokes a cigar when there is a big signboard of  No Smoking. He is clearly not serious about abiding the laws or cares for the well-being of others.

2nd joker from PPBM will be detailed next month.

Malu Apa Bossku ??

When the shit hits the fence, even a prime minister would suddenly not know anything happening around him what more around the country. Despite the fact that he had utilise billions of Ringgit, from monies that he did not know anything, to benefit himself personally and politically. He did not know anything - he just signed the documents and the cheques only...

This prime minister is none other than Najib Razak, the sixth prime minister of Malaysia. He should have told Malaysians in 2009 that he had all along wanted to be a prime minister that did not know anything. Malaysians would at least have a chance to vote on it when he sought to be re-elected in the 2013 general election. During the campaign of 2013 general election, his posters were everywhere to the extent of undermining the popularity of candidates contesting in their respective constituencies.

I supposed he did not know that his party was going to put his photos on campaigning posters everywhere throughout the country.

I guessed he did not know what he was signing in relation to this mosque.

Does he even know anything about Bossku and that T-shirt with 'no shame' catchy phrase? Not forgetting the fact that he signed off as 'Bossku'.

Najib would of course not know anything about the changes to the election regulations and boundaries that benefited him and his party prior to 2018 general election. Would he ?

What would he know?!?  This is my question to all the Bossku supporters.

M for Menace ?

Mahathir Mohamad, the prime minister of Malaysia for the 2nd time, is known to speak his mind against other countries since his 1st time as prime minister of Malaysia (1981 -2003). He continues to do so todate. He recently angered a large number of the population in India by saying the below:

His choice of words of "invaded and occupied" really left a bad taste. It was really unnecessary for a conflict that has been going on more than seven decades.

Prior to that he raised dissatisfaction from the people of China and the leadership in Hong Kong by saying the below:

The reality is that Mahathir is a leader of the 80's and 90's. His style and thoughts are at times unsuitable for 2019 approaching 2020's. He does not realise that his ways are outdated today. India and China were much weaker economies in the 80's and 90's. They could not do much when criticism was thrown at them. They are however both the largest economic powers of Asia and the world today.

Being Asians, they are more sensitive to what people say about them. They care for face more than the Western countries. Mahathir used to criticise the USA and the UK, but those country did not give a hoot about what Mahathir said. Malaysia is a small country hardly noticeable in the global front. On the other hand, India and China pay sufficient attention to Malaysia. They bother to be upset with its leader's unnecessary comments. While Mahathir is happy that he is getting attention, the ordinary Malaysians are suffering the consequences of his comments. 2 million people in the oil palm industry has suffered as India shunned supplies from Malaysia.

It is time for Malaysia to move on and progress without the baggages of this 94 year old prime minister. He is simply dated and unable to cope with the current times. We cannot blame him knowing his age but Malaysia can do without him.

Nazir Razak is No Angel

Nazir Razak, a younger brother of Najib Razak who is now under multiple money laundering, corruption and abuse of power suits, has always appeared as a gentleman to many people. He is well known in the banking fraternity as a bright banker who works hard for banking deals. He was the CEO of Commerce International Merchant Bank and thereafter the chairman of CIMB banking group.

Nazir released a statement today that he would seek to engage with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to resolve the matter of alleged 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) money transferred into his account. Nazir should have done so when the forfeiture for his receipt of illegal money was initiated by MACC almost 4 months ago in June 2019. What took him so long?

Nazir claimed that he has been a vocal and frequent critic of 1MDB. It is true that he did voice his concern about 1MDB and mentioned 1MDB's potential problems to the economy. He did nothing but making verbal remarks. He could have done something more affirmative to at least help curb the expanding 1MDB abuses. What he did was almost like he was creating a verbal distance from his brother to safeguard his interest in the event that his brother is in trouble.

Perhaps it was difficult for him to do anything because he is a younger brother, but Nazir is a big man with high stature internationally who can certainly do more than just speaking a few words every now and then. The fact that he kept quiet about taking RM25.7 million until its exposure to the press meant that he was less than honest. As a banker and younger brother of Najib, he should know better about Najib's finances. Nazir's brother took in RM2,600 million donation from one person. Nazir, a seasoned and well known banker, believed this? Please remember that Nazir asked his staff to distribute the money in 'no question asked' situation. While Nazir did not know the source of his brother's money was possibly illegal, he knew the adverse consequences that could be caused by the siphoning of 1MDB's money to the Malaysian economy. This is in itself self-contradictory.

Nazir further claimed that the boards of CIMB group and CIMB Bank conducted a full review of what transpired with the help of an accounting firm and a legal firm. He was cleared by the boards of directors. These directors were either his friends or his appointees. Nazir, your brother used the same tactic to clear his name too! Nazir should have gone to the police and MACC for real investigation to be made after his brother was thrown out of power by the Malaysians in the historic general election on 9 May 2018. Nazir did nothing like that.

Nazir is perhaps a smart wolf in sheep's skin. He could have done better and more. He did not. He could have been more transparent but he did not. He did what he thought was enough to clear him of all blames and crimes. That is Razak family...

M for Mahathir - It's not for Malaysia

Tun Mahathir Mohamad (Mahathir) was the prime minister of Malaysia from 1981 to 2003, when he was the president of Umno (United Malays National Organisation), the dominant party of the then ruling regime, Barisan Nasional (BN). He was known for his authoritarianism and tendency on abuse of power and alleged corruption during his rule. His political shrewdness and tactical ability were equally well known.

The opposition alliance, Pakatan Harapan (PH), was battling BN in the 2018 general election in Malaysia (GE14). Mahathir was victimised by BN joined PH. He was offered to lead PH, in the absence of Anwar Ibrahim who was jailed by BN Government through trumped up sodomy charges. Mahathir led PH to victory and replaced BN Government for the 1st time after 61 years of BN rule.

Mahathir did a good job in swaying support of PH supporters and some of BN's supporters. He was then sworn in as the prime minister which was part of the PH pre-election agreement. Many in Malaysia had hoped that he would do good to the country considering his age at 93 then. He surely wanted to leave a legacy to be remembered for years to come and become a legend after becoming prime minister for the 2nd time.

However (the sad part is that there is this however), after spending almost 1 1/2 years on the job, he did nothing but to retreat into his old self with the same old political tactics to benefit not the country but his son, his close allies and his party.

He has since destabilised the component parties in PH, especially Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) and Democratic Action Party (DAP), at the same time, strengthened his Bersatu party. The below are tactics that Mahathir has resorted into thus far:

Bias in selection of cabinet ministers
Mahathir was choosing more candidate from his party as cabinet minister than necessary. His Bersatu party was new and lacked talent but that did not stop Mahathir from using his prerogative as a prime minister to select inexperienced and mediocre candidates from his party to be cabinet ministers. Look at Maszlee Malik, Mohd Redzuan, Rina Harun and Syed Saddiq. PH members gave Mahathir the benefits of doubt but you can see what these ministers have done so far.

He publicly cried about school condition, scholarship for students, education for students with special need, and even a movie

Destabilising PKR- Azmin Ali's homosexual affair (allegedly)
The police force under the control of Mahathir did not pursue the authenticity of the video and identification of the alleged persons (Azmin Ali is a cabinet minister) involved in homosexual anal act, which is illegal in Malaysia. Azmin is favoured by Mahathir as an opponent to Anwar Ibrahim, the president of PKR. Multiple sources have since confirmed the authenticity of the video and the likeliness of the alleged person committing sodomy to Azmin Ali. Mahathir once claimed to abhor sodomy. He investigated and jailed Anwar Ibrahim for sodomy 20 years ago. As for Azmin, there was much hoo-ha about the investigations on the person who released the video, but nothing on Azmin Ali. Criminal or Whistle-blower should be investigated and charged?

Weakening DAP- Khat implementation
Khat is artistic Arabic writing to depict Islamic teaching. It is different from Jawi which is the writing used by the Malays in Malaysia before the adoption of Roman alphabets. Jawi is influenced by Arabic writing but not the same. Many non-Muslims in Malaysia were sceptical about the  implementation of Khat writing in Chinese and Tamil schools. There was the no practical need of such writing to burden the students who are already learning Malay, English and Chinese/Tamil writings. The implementation of Khat was none other than Mahathir's tactic to weaken DAP whose support base was primarily Chinese and Indian ethnic Malaysians. Maszlee, the education minister, who cry as much as another weak leader from BN called Wee Ka Siong, would not have pushed through Khat teaching without Mahathir's manipulative hands behind him.

Cracking PH but not Bersatu
Mahathir, through his close ally, Daim Zainuddin had struck a deal with Lynas  behind the scene to allow it to continue the processing of rare earth. Daim's aide admitted this. None of the cabinet minister knew what deal was struck. The decision to allow Lynas to renew its license and operate came as a big surprise to many Malaysians. PH's manifesto was to shut down Lynas. Mahathir's stroke of mastery political skill by ignoring PH's election manifesto had weaken PH overall except for Bersatu. Bersatu was never against Lynas as it is a splinter party of Umno which allowed Lynas to operate. The people were upset with PKR, DAP and Amanah with the decision by this PH government. Lynas is an Australian company that could not get a license to process rare earth in Australia due to its toxicity to the environment.

Daim is known to travel around to strike deals on behalf of the government without the knowledge of the cabinet ministers. The deals included East Coast Railway Link (ECRL) with China, etc. He takes instruction directly from Mahathir. Mahathir was apparently back to his authoritarian style after less than 6 months in power for the 2nd time.

Mahathir is also a hypocrite who refuses to ratify International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD) and Roman Statute that prosecutes perpetrators who commit genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and crimes of aggression, but he cry foul of alleged discrimination against Muslims in Myanmar and around the world. Discrimination against non-Muslims in your country and the rest of the world is ok with you?!!

This prime minister who is 94 year old now has frequently told people how he has been working 18 hours as a prime minister. One cannot help but to think that what he has been working on 18 hours a day is for Mahathir (and son), his close allies and his party, but NOT for Malaysia. Read this

For the producers of M for Malaysia (Mahathir's granddaughter and daughter of Mahathir's close friend), please get your perspective right, the reality is M for Mahathir.  Leave this country for someone genuinely want to save it and make it great! Please do not make it too late for those Malaysians who are younger than you. Perhaps M for wolf in sheep's skin.

Read My Lips - Man in the Mirror

Azmin Ali, Deputy President of PKR (Parti Keadilan Rakyat) cum Minister of Economic Affairs in Malaysia, was allegedly caught in a video when he was having homosexual act with a younger man. Although he belongs to Pakatan Harapan key members, he is not one of the cleaner leaders. Some people may not care about his sexual preference but many care why there were many young men who got rich in recent years in Azmin's constituency when he was the Menteri Besar or Chief Minister of the state.

He is known to be a master of political maneuver. He has been calling for investigation into the perpetrator who has produced and distributed the video. Of course, he has denied that the older man in the video is him. The video has been confirmed by Malaysian Multimedia and Communication Commission as authentic and not edited. You can see his response when he is asked about the video:

Is this a response of a typical innocent man? You can see that he is fighting hard to hold back his emotion and remain as cool as possible on surface. His troubled face perhaps has given away a lot about the truth.

For those who wonder how he has come up with 'man in the mirror', please watch the below song by the late Michael Jackson:

As regards 'read my lips', it was made famous by former American president, George HW Bush in 1988:

Azmin has really not come up with any original catchy phrases.

Malu Apa Bossku ?

Few Malaysians were suprised when the former prime minister Najib Razak was against the new government's move to require Members of Parliament (MPs) to declare their assets. He quoted that there are MPs with other sources of income, noting that some are lawyers or architects, earning salaries from other works.

It is agreed that many MPs were or are still professionals who have income from their professional careers. They can safely declare those assets, acquired with various sources of income, to the the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission. There is nothing sinister about rightful sources of income and assets. The declaration is necessary as MPs are bearers of public office. This declaration will serve as a deterrent to these MPs from committing corruption whereby the source of income is illegal.

Why is Najib Worried?

As a self-proclaimed Bossku, he is not a professional or a corporate figure with other sources of income. He should be least bothered by this declaration. He may be a caring MP who likes to speak for other MPs, but no MPs with other sources of income are complaining.

Perhaps, Najib has reasons to worry about his assets which may not come from rightful sources of income. For 1 man who has claimed to receive RM2.6 billion donation from a Saudi royalty, he is a self-made billionaire by way of purely 1 donation. This is legitimately exemplary, is it not?

He has nothing to fear. His wealth is well-known in the country and the rest of the world. There is no security risk to worry about. This self-proclaimed Bossku has been going places to campaign and give speeches safely for the past years. Go ahead Najib! Tell us your wealth. We love to hear from you on this.
