40% = 2/3 What kind of maths is this?

Gerrymandering has gained a new name in Malaysia. It has hit a record-breaking level. Malaysian prime minister Najib Razak, who is also known as MO1 (Malaysian Official 1) around the world after being made famous by the Department of Justice (DOJ) of the United States of America (US), has instructed his Election Commission (EC) to re-delineate boundaries of various electoral constituencies to benefit his coalition, Barisan Nasional (BN) which is dominated by his party United Malays National Organisation (UMNO). He has changed the rules of election. With his EC's changes, BN will win 2./3 majority with just 40% of the votes. Who else can hit it this low?

Najib was constantly complaining of foreign influence in Malaysian affairs when DOJ or Swiss authorities released news on 1MDB (1Malaysia Development Berhad). 1MDB is known worldwide for its involvement in money laundering and corruption cases. Najib has repeatedly request his countrymen to stand united and support him in the face of so called foreign influence. On the contrary, he has been seeking foreign help in maintaining his power and ruling his country. In addition to British firm, Cambridge Analytica, Najib is believed to have sought the help of Russians, who allegedly helped Trump to win his US's presidency, to assist him in Najib's effort to win the next general election in Malaysia that must be held in the next few months.

Najib's election propaganda bears the same message as Trump's US presidential campaign. Najib uses the phrase Make My Country Great (Hebatkan Negaraku), while Trump's slogan was Make America Great Again. There are plenty of evidence pointing to Trump engaging the Russians and the British firm, Cambridge Analytica in his campaign. It is not surprising that the same bunch of people manipulating the social media, influencing voters, etc are now working for Najib. Najib has cash (from 1MDB) and he can pay (because it is not his money). These manipulators are happy to work for Najib.

Rafizi's Sacrifices Must Not be Lost or Wasted

Rafizi Ramli is a popular politician in Malaysia who is in opposition party. He gained his fame after exposing about the case of fund abuse in National Feedlot Corporation (NFC) whereby the funds, granted by the ruling government to develop sustainable Malaysian beef industry, were channeled to purchase properties for personal gains. RM250 million was spent on purchase of properties in neighbouring country, Singapore, and high-end residential condominiums in Malaysia. The term 'cow condo' became an instant hit when NFC could not explain why high-end residential condominiums were required in rearing cows. Perhaps, only in Malaysia that cows stay in the condominiums to produce better quality beef. Japanese Wagyu or Kobe beef certainly cannot beat this Malaysian condo beef!

NFC was operated by the family of Wanita Umno head Shahrizat Jalil, whose husband Mohamed Salleh Ismail chaired the company’s board of directors, which included the couple’s children. Umno is the dominant party of the ruling regime, Barisan Nasional, in Malaysia.

Since the exposure of this NFC scandals in 2011, more selfless Malaysians sent Rafizi information in relation to NFC abuses for him to substantiate and expand his initial exposure. As expected of the country under a kleptocratic government (government ruled by thieves), Rafizi's heroic exposure landed him in prison on 7 February 2018. The selfless whistleblower, Johari Mohamad, supporting Rafizi was also jailed by the government. On the other hand, Shahrizat and her family members were found to be free from all crimes.

Unlike politicians in Umno, Rafizi is a selfless politician who is in politics not for money but for the overall good of the country. It does not pay to be a good person in Malaysia?

Please listen to his last speech as a free man before his imprisonment:

Rafizi had a stable high income job when he decided to join politics. It is believed that his standard of living deteriorated after joining politics, and worse still, he is now jailed for exposing a thoroughly absurd scandal on abuse of government funds. He was the top student in Malay College, Kuala Kangsar which is a top institution in Malaysia to educate and train capable Malays.

Rafizi is a hero in Malaysian politics and his sacrifices will be remembered by Malaysians for many years to come. The sacrifices of Rafizi and Johari must not be lost or wasted in the hand of kleptocracy. Malaysians must rise and vote against this government ruled and controlled by thieves.

You can find out more about Rafizi in his own website: http://rafiziramli.com/about/

Jedi from the Dark Force ?

A white or black cat ?
As long as it catches the mouse
It is a good cat!

Tun Mahathir Mohamad was chosen by the opposition alliance, Pakatan Harapan (PH), on 6 January 2018 to be the leader and prime minister in the event that they win the general election 14 (GE14) in Malaysia. GE14 is expected to be called by March this year, and not later than August 2018.

Mahathir is no stranger in Malaysian politics. He was the prime minister of Malaysia for 22 years from 1981 to 2003. He was a strongman in the ruling regime, Barisan Nasional (BN), which is dominated by United Malays National Organization (UMNO). Najib Razak is now the leader of UMNO and prime minister of Malaysia. The corruption and abuse of power in Malaysia is so bad today that Mahathir feels the need to remove and replace Najib. Mahathir is now effectively the main challenger to the very system he helped build during his more than 2 decades in power.

At the age of 92, Mahathir has come a long way to garner the recognition of Pakatan Harapan leaders. Many of them were victims of UMNO's dictatorial tactics in Malaysian politics when Mahathir was the prime minister. Mahathir apologised for the past wrong doings and he has gone further to regain the trust of Pakatan Harapan members. His once political enemy, Anwar Ibrahim, has accepted Mahathir's apology and supported him in Mahathir's candidacy as Pakatan Harapan leader. These are all done by them in the interest of the country.

Malaysia is now known as the worst kleptocracy (a country ruled by a thief or thieves) in the world. Its people are suffering high living cost and ongoing inflationary pressure. BN must not be in power if Malaysia wants to heal from the damages done by UMNO/BN's corruption and abuse of power. No election is clean or fair as long as they are in power. Hence, there is no proper democracy.

Mahathir has himself endured numerous harassment and humiliation by UMNO and BN component parties ever since he crossed over to the opposition front. Such unscrupulous acts are all indications of a dysfunctional democracy.

Mahathir may be too old to be a prime minister (for the 2nd time). He may not have a democratic track record, or even a good looking face. However, Mahathir can play a critical role to knock UMNO/BN out of power.  Without pulling down the current authoritarian and kleptocratic regime, Malaysia will have no hope of recovering from the economic and political slump it is in now.

Whether it is a white or black cat, as long as it catches the mouse, it is a good cat!

Mahathir is a good choice for the people as long as he can help the people to remove UMNO/BN from power, and help to install a functional democracy, with clean and fair election. Mahathir is part of PH that makes decision on consensus. He can no longer act unilaterally on his own, unlike his days helming an 'undemocratic' UMNO/BN. Mahathir can provide the people a promising hope to return the country to the correct path.

Mr Jeff Sessions, Say It Again Please...

Jeff Sessions is the attorney general of the United States of America (USA) who has been hand-picked president by Donald Trump, president of the USA . Trump is a golf buddy of the prime minister of Malaysia, Najib Razak (as claimed by Najib).

Let's see the comments of Sessions on 1Malaysia Development Fund (1MDB):

While Jeff Sessions did not mention Najib, the Malaysian prime minister has been in full charge of 1MDB. He created 1MDB and used his favourate godson, Low Taek Jho (Jho Low) to abuse, launder and move money to enrich Najib personally. Jho Low was quick to take billions to benefit himself along the way too. Malaysian Official 1 (MO1) has been confirmed to be Najib by his cabinet minister, Rahman Dahlan. MO1 is the key manipulator of 1MDB's funds behind the scene.

Najib never quite denied the alleged wrongdoings when the previous attorney general of the USA, Lorreta Lynch first announced the 1MDB's case in 2016. He never dared to sue or even comment on the allegations by the department of justice of the USA. We can only guess that he does not dare to say a word since his 'golf buddy''s attorney general is now repeating the same allegations.

The Malaysian prime minister flew to the USA to pledge his commitment, to strengthen the USA's economy, to Trump only 3 months ago in September 2017. Yet, Sessions has openly embarrassed Najib to the whole world by exposing Najib's 1MDB scandals.

Najib = Kleptocracy at Its Worst

Najib, you really have nothing to say? Silence is rotten and not golden here.

A shorter version of the same video as the above is available here.

In case you are interested, you can watch what the former attorney general of the USA, Lorreta Lynch, said about 1MDB.

The Emperor's New Clothes

Golf is a sport. It is not a sport that everyone can play well. However, the people around you may give you the wrong impressions that you are a fantastic player.

Let's watch Video 1:

You would have thought Najib Razak is natural talent in golf when you heard the applauds and cheers from the people surrounding him. He was so good that he deserved a selfie from one of his fans.

Now, let's watch Video 2:

You would see a totally different situation in video 2. Najib Razak was given chances to repeat his putting again and again to give him a much need applaud for his 'success' finally. Video 2 showed his poor golfing skill but the people around him clapped loudly and cheered regardless.

Video 2 would have reminded you of the Danish story of The Emperor's New Clothes, or The Emperor Has No Clothes. Why would it not?

This is that kind of life that you wish to lead?

In the event that you can't watch the above videos. The alternatives are below:

How Rude can a Prime Minister be ?

There are about 195 countries in the world today. Many current and former leaders of these countries are statesmen or stateswomen, with the exception of some less than honourable or even rude leaders. In the lastest news, 1 leader of these countries has recently distinguished himself and stood out to be crude and vulgar in the public forum. Najib Razak, the prime minister of Malaysia has surely carved a reputation for himself as an unrefined person with low-minded characters. You can watch the following video, courtesy of Johor Times, to ascertain the facts stated:

Najib started by calling the opposition leader, Mahathir Mohamed, with vulgar phrase 'Kepala Bapa Kau'. It literally means Your Father's Head. It is a phrase deemed very rude, crude and vulgar (bahasa kasar) in Malay language. Najib admitted that the phrase 'Kepala Bapa Kau' was 'bahasa kasar'. He was unapologetic and said 'Kepala Bapa Kau' deliberately, even though he followed that phrase with 'sorry' with an unconvincing grin.

Ex-patriates and tourists in Malaysia are strictly advised against using 'Kepala Bapa Kau' in their communication with any of the locals, matters not their ethnicity. It is a commonly known unacceptable 'bahasa kasar' in Malaysia.

The prime minister went on to use 'stupid' to describe Mahathir and the opposition alliance. He re-emphasied his use of 'stupid' by calling Mahathir 'bodoh'. Stupid can be best used to describe the Malay word 'bodoh'.

A Chinese food restaurant in London Chinatown, Wong Kei, once known as the rudest restaurant in London, made rude manner as a way of attracting customers. "How rude do you think your waiter can be?" was their tagline. Malaysian tourism ministry should immediately promote Malaysian prime minister as an attraction to tourists around the world. They must catch a glimpse of this man, probably the rudest prime minster in the world. "How rude do you think our PM can be?" should be a Malaysian tagline.

Najib is no ordinary leader. He is one self-claimed moderate Muslim in international forum that is hard to come by and constantly perplexing many Malaysians. Despite his self-claim, he is quietly supportive of other leaders in his party who are behaving in violent manners and disregard for the rule of law. There have been many allegations of corruption, money laundering, murders surrounding the leadership of Najib.

Please watch the below if you can not play the above video:

Malaysian PM for the United States of America

This is the best that Trump, the president of the United States of America (US), can hope for. The prime minister of Malaysia, a relatively small country in Asia, is pledging to strengthen the US's economy.

The people in Malaysia has actually chosen a prime minister who is determined to strengthen the US's economy. So much so that he had to fly almost 24 hours to meet Trump at Washington DC to pronounce his pledge to pump USD20 billion into the US's economy.  Imagine this. The US has a GDP per capita of USD52,000, while Malaysia has a GDP per capita of USD9,000. The US is the world's largest economy with the highest GDP.

US
Malaysia
GDP per capital
USD52,000
USD9,000

GDP or gross domestic product is a measurement of economic income in a country. Who requires help more?

It was not a trade talk as claimed by the Malaysian mainstream media. It was only a meeting worth 5 minutes and 50 seconds. There was no negotiation or discussion. It was only Najib presenting his pledge to Trump in the interest of the American economy. If you listened closely, Najib was behaving as if he was pledging to his boss what he intended to do, i.e. to strengthen the US's economy.

Trump was happily nodding away and said yes to the pledge by Najib. If you wanted to be cynical, you might have suspected that the content of the pledge was most likely written by Trump's daughter or son in law.

You can alternatively watch it on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0YDkEhvsNE

Najib, who is also known as MO1 (Malaysian Official 1) in an investigation into money laundering by the  US Department of Justice, is pledging USD3-4 billion to help Trump's infrastructure projects. The most famous infrastructure project by Trump is the wall that will divide the US and Mexico. Who say the Americans or the Mexicans are paying for the wall after all?

Its Malaysians paying for the much publicized wall by Trump!!

Are you embarrassed as a Malaysian?
